Available Positions

Painter

This position helps team to assemble trailers for customer orders; assist co-workers when required; and
does other tasks as assigned by management. Be able to detect imperfections on all trailer frame work.
Remove all grease, dirt and foreign material. This position agrees to random drug screening to ensure a
safe work environment.

Physical Effort Required

Required to be able to stand and walk for long periods of time; must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; bending,
stooping, reaching, and walking, must be able to withstand days of heat and cold working conditons; must
be able to pass a drug screening test.

Job Duties

  • Operates safety equipment and uses safe work habits while performing job function.
  • Wipe down entire trailer using a tack cloth to remove any dirt or grease.
  • Applies even coats of paint over area of trailer.
  • Moves trailer into and out of paint booth.
  • Checks mixture of paint and proper viscosity.
  • Change paint filters.
  • Cleans paint booth.
  • Place paint dust and paint filters in sealed drums and label properly for storage.
  • Assist other co-workers when needed.
  • Create a positive work environment with co-workers and supervisors.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Welder

This position helps team to assemble trailers for customer orders; assist co-workers when required; does
other tasks as assigned by management. This positon agrees to random drug screening to ensure a safe
work environment.

Physical Effort Required

Must be able to stand for 8 hours; must be able to squat down or climb; must be able to lift 40-75 pounds
with assistance; must be able to read, write, and understand English; must be able to weld with precision;
must be able to provide and wear steel/composite toe boots; welding hood; must be able to withstand days
of heat and cold working conditions; must be able to pass a drug screening test.

Job Duties

  • The Welder operates safety equipment and uses safe work habits while performing his job function.
  • The Welder welds components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
  • The Welder ignites torches or starts power supplies and strikes arcs by touching electrodes to metals
    being welded, completing electrical circuits.
  • The Welder detects faulty operation of equipment or defective materials and notifies supervisors.
  • Pre-assemble parts and then assembles them on trailers.
  • The Welder clamps, holds, tack-weld, heat-bend, grind or bolts component parts to obtain required
    configurations and positions for welding.
  • The Welder operates manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments, using
    processes such as gas tungsten arc, gas metal arc, and flux-cored arc, plasma arc, and shielded metal arc,
    and resistance welding.
  • The Welder monitors the fitting, burning, and welding processes to avoid overheating of parts of
    warping, shrinking, distortion, or expansion of materials.
  • The Welder examines work pieces for defects and measures work pieces with straight edges or templates
    to ensure conformance with specifications.
  • Create a positive work environment with co-workers and supervisors.

Potential Hazard

Your working in areas with possible exposure to hazards associated with welding.
Welding Fumes*
Welding Fumes contain: Manganese, Iron Oxide and Copper which are considered Hazardous chemicals to
the human body. Short term overexposure to welding fumes may result in discomfort such as fever,
dizziness, nausea, dryness or irritation of the nose, throat, and eyes and may aggravate pre-existing
conditions. Long term overexposure to welding fumes may harm your pulmonary and respiratory functions
and may lead to Siderosis (iron deposits in the lungs)

Fumes from normal welding can contain significant amounts of Manganese compounds which can be
harmful. Common entry into the body is by inhalation. Over exposure in this manner may effect the central
nervous system and may result in behavioral changes, changes in handwriting, cramps, flu-like symptoms
(metal fume fever), gait impairment ( walking), muscle spasms and tremors similar to Parkinson’s disease.
Avoid welding fumes at all times and use adequate ventilation when welding to avoid overexposure

Finisher

This position helps team to assemble trailers for customer orders; assist co-workers when required; and
does other tasks as assigned by management. This position agrees to random drug screening to ensure a
safe work environment.

Physical Effort Required

Required to be able to stand for long periods of time; must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; bending, stooping,
reaching, and walking, must be able to withstand days of heat and cold working conditons; must be able to
pass a drug screening test

Job duties

  • Operates safety equipment and uses safe work habits while performing job functions.
  • Proofread paperwork to check trailers to make sure all options are installed and completed.
  • Air lifts trailer to install the tires.
  • Checks lights and brakes to make sure they are working properly.
  • DA plywood floor.
  • Applies correct stickers.
  • Final touch up work for completion of trailer, (paint, caulk, and clean).
  • Create a positive work environment with co-workers and supervisors.
